first update on the new project for sweet little Brantley, it's not the kind of project I would normally choose.. I tend to go for like crazy complicated lol but I'm enjoying it... and in witchie style trying to sew in love and peace and strength with every stitch... man that is an amazing kid

Some bad news and some good .. little Lorcan was to weak and passed away, but I have two of his little cousins now Jasper and Duncan and they are wonderful, so sweet and adorable... and ACTIVE... astonishingly active, they both have coccidia but are getting better with some homeopathic meds I found, Dunc has a stuffy nose (more right after he eats or is tired ) but his little gums are pink and he is eating and playing etc fine... Milo has a UTI and is on cranberry suppliments ...

Well finished the backstitching ...finally.. there was a ton and it's not my favorite thing to do but it makes such a difference.  I have been lax about posting new pictures so here goes

 

 I still need to wash and iron, then add the seed beads ...er I mean plastic french knots :)

it's going quickly so there should be an update either today or tomorrow

no stitching updates but there's a new family member... he's a 6 week old kitten named Mortimer (Morty for short) and he's adorable.  I've only had him for a few hours so he's still adjusting but I'll feel better when he eats and uses the litterbox.  I've never had one this young before so I think some research is in order... but he's a love

 

belated update, I've been down with some hellish form of the flu so I've been stitching my little heart out... I'm almost done and have 5 projects lined up in the wings.

my sweet little Milo bug has been by my side.. this dog was a mess when I got him somehow in the past 2 years he's become my heart

this is what the finished project will look like, it's Victorian Charm by Dimensions, I have a thing for cabins and victorians so this was right up my alley.

 

 

 

 

that's what the finish will look like, I'm not horribly far from done... just under 1/3 left .. and backstitching of course but there's a lot and it's not my favorite thing so I'm trying not to think about that lol.  There are a lot of french knots too, but I'm challenged so I use seed beads.
